This guide explains how to manually configure your SwissCenter email address on recent versions of Outlook (2019, 2021, and Microsoft 365).
1. Start adding an account
- Open Outlook.
- Go to the File menu (top left) and click Add Account.

- Enter your full email address.

- Key step: Click Advanced options, check the box "Let me set up my account manually", then click Connect.
2. Choose the protocol
In the list of account types, select IMAP. (IMAP is recommended to synchronize your emails across multiple devices: PC, Smartphone, and Webmail).

3. Server settings (Precise configuration)
The name of your domain's email server is shown in Hosting management, in the Misc informations box on the left, on the line E-mail SSL server name (POP3S / IMAPS / SMTPS). The values below use mail01.swisscenter.com; if your console shows another name, use the one from the console.
Fill in the fields exactly as follows to ensure a secure connection:
Incoming mail
- Server:
mail01.swisscenter.com
- Port:
993
- Encryption method:
SSL/TLS
Outgoing mail (SMTP)
Note: If Outlook asks for your password after this step, make sure you enter the mailbox password (set in the Apanel console, under E-mail addresses).
💡 Connection error? Check these 3 points:
- The username: Your username is your full email address (not just the part before the @).
- The outgoing port: If port 587 with STARTTLS fails, check that your firewall or antivirus is not blocking outgoing connections. You can also try port
465 with SSL/TLS encryption.
- The password: If in doubt, test your password on the webmail. For a domain whose email server is
mail01.swisscenter.com, that is the Webmail. If it works there, it will work on Outlook.
